Although it won't be a big project, over the next few weeks I'll be putting together a special-edition level for the Hyperspace series. It won't be an Assault level, nor will it be a CTF level. Infact it won't be a team-based level at all, but instead a CO-OP only mission - Or solo-play. The idea behind this will be to create a simple, easy-to understand yet explosive mission. There will be easy objectives but lot's of skill required. What I plan to include in this mission is all of the current Basewars weapons (excluding a few bombs which may get replaced for the purpose of a "bomber" style mission..) and most of the current AI models. You'll be based on a Mothership, and alongside your wingmates you must defend the Mothership from the Maltu Orion Legion. Follow the progress in the

I've added two tracks (full length high quality versions) to the music section. These are from the level "Basewars" - Recommended listen if you like ambient, spacey music! In other news, well there isn't any - It's not likely I'll be working on anything new for Descent now, nor will I be updating this site much since there isn't much to do. :-)

Remember, Basewars is a spinoff of Hyperspace but is NOT Hyperspace. It doesn't play like those levels, and takes time to learn. It's a space-strategy, and not just combat. Learning how to play can greatly benefit you later, and you'll get the rewards too. Even the playerships have a role, such as the "Isis (Magnum)" which is designed to be a base defender. To learn how to play, and learn other aspects of the level which might help you explore - Check out the
Hyperspace section.
