No. 4, the Balalaika, it's got a lovely sound, and the others you can pick up far more easily, so it's best to secure the least well known one first ;)

It's a nice price for a Sax, and a nice Sax, but I suspect places like that frequently have special offers like this.

At the end of the day, the other question you have to ask yourself is 'do I want another stringed instrument?' :)

i'd say grab the clarinet, it's only a tenner with P&P.

Those things are quite loud though, and AFAIK, a b**ch to learn to play.

i'd say pay for some lessons first....

That's a risk I'm willing to take. :p

Besides, I can pick stuff up pretty fast.

Well, now I've had time to think about it more, the EU is getting bigger, it may well be that the price of ethnic instruments in England will over the next few years.

The choice is yours, of course, The Balalaika is a great instrument, and it's something that would be cool to have in recordings etc, since almost no-one has one. But the Sax is cheap, and looks good, and give you a wider range of instruments ;)
