OK, integrated chipsets are, well, not my cup of tea when I can avoid them. There isn't much IU can help you with as far as that card goes, aside from advicing you to spend 40 or 50 dollars on a Radeon 9200 or 9600. (Not an SE version, if possible.) I am running an Radeon 7000 myself because my mobo won't take anything faster, and it can run the SCP. It won't cost you much, and save you quite some headaches.

Untill then, HT&L should still work on that chipset, but if the thing is that picky, it might not. Did you try it? Did it give any errors?

Actually, save yourself some headaches and buy an Nvidia card. The 5200 Ultra or 5700 specifically. The 5200 Ultra is quite powerful for it's pricepoint and the 5700 is the mainstream version of the 5900.

*raises eyebrow*

A videocard is on my wishlist, probably for Christmas, now that I think about it, since I've made my purchases for the summer.

In any case I've made a short-term solution by removing the offending files from my core FS2 directory where they can't cause any harm.
