i can't get there....

nvm, it's just slow

I still don't get it, but i'm now positive that i will never set foot in 0.5 space or lower ever again.

It's really pathetic, it's getting to the point where you can't go anywhere without seeing someone with negative security. They're like roaches coming out of the woodwork. And it's not like there are missions to lower security, so everyone who has negative security is now, or has been, making a practice of killing lower skilled players.

Not every pirate has a low security rating. Theres also different kinds of pirates... Most of them are smack talkers, whereas there are some decent ones around.

what the hell is a "decent pirate"?

That would make them Privateer's then? As opposed to murdering son-o-bitches?

A privateer I could almost respect. But this ganking for no damned good reason pisses me off to no end.

Well, the pirates that I play with can accept fees for safe passage, and who we do kill we ransom first. Also, we only really do any of the killing in 0.0 space, and mostly we are contending with alliances and their squads / camps / fleets.

There are plenty of countermeasures to avoid pirates, such as insta-jumps and warp core stabilizers. That, and good intel. Then you can practically go anywhere.

WoR for the most part tries to ransom first. If we come across a large group of people, we will usually just destroy the smaller ships and ransom the largest target, mainly because the smaller ships are a threat to our tacklers. Lone targets are usually easy, but sometimes accidents happen. Two days ago we tried to ransom a Brutix. We had him more or less pinned, but he decided to set his drones on the Enyo tackling him. The instant that happend it went from "Ransom" to "kill him before he can kill the tackler and get away." We managed to pop the drones first, but by then it was too late. The Deimos firing on him wasnt able to shut his guns off in time, and the thing popped. Tech 2 Electron Blasters are insane.
And dont worry too much about travelling in our space (Ladistier, Aeschee, Old Man Star and surrounding areas), Lib. I've set SG Corp to +5. You wont be fired upon by WoR.

Lib's not in SG as far as i know...

But yeah, we ended up killing a ferox last night, because he refused a 15mil ransom. We had also offered to buy his ship for 10mil, as he claimed to not have the money, and still he declined. He'll probably make a fair amount off insurance, but still - he'll probably need more than 15mil to get it equipped again...

Oh, and be-ware though... WoR is literally in Renyn's back door...

14
Me? Hardly. IMO, mining is dull and boring. I'm trying to prove myself to some of the WoR guys, since what i've been part of so far with them has been a much welcomed improvement over the past...

I'll probably leave the SG corp when i have a solid place to head to. Till then, the occasional hauling job is worth it...

I WILL NOT join a player corp.

I know my self, they will eventually rely on me for something, and I will let them down, and I cannot allow that.
