Funny old World :p

I was watching a Roger Walters' (Pink Floyd's ex-songwriter/bassist/singer) video today of a concert he did in America a while ago. It was quite funny.

He was singing this song about a man who used to do drugs when he was a kid, and now he went around getting people killed, the chorus went 'Hey old Man, who you gonna kill next?'

The crowd was standing there waving little American flags and cheering and I was thinking 'This is going completely over your heads isn't it?'

Poor Roger, still wants to be a Hippy ;)

Isn't the name change still a requirement in American marraiges anyway? I know it's no longer compulsory in the UK.

AFAIK, it's optional here, but socially/culturally wives are expected to take the surname of their husbands. If they don't they are looked at like somekind of b**ch who's more intested in herself than in the man she's vowed to spend the rest of her life with.

:roll: Perhaps by you - as I understand it, failing to change her name generally has more to do with having an established name in some kind of career, or just plain old personal choice...
