Truespace has a nasty interface, and it's a lot harder to use than Max, which is relatively intuitive, and thus used by the majority of the community, but we've been forced to use TS to convert (from cob, the TS model format) basically since FS modding started. Before i got Gmax, and then 3DS6, I was trying to learn Blender... Then i went to TS... They guy helping, was like, "Ok, now click on the Dog, and you'll see a little screen pop up. Then click the one that looks like a house on fire near a really big circle. Now click and drag the Dog menu onto the cube. Now delete the cube."

True, I've made a few models, though i'm still not very good at it, but i never bothered converting them, since it took so much work... Now its easy...

are you guys insane? TS is just about the best program ive ever used, and ive used alot. the booleans can quintouple the polys, but do you know how hard it is to make an indentation without them? it can take a LONG time unless its an easy one...
oh well, TSs day is at an end...
ill prolly keep using it, though. i have it on both these computers, so theres no point in learning a new one.

14I can see how Truespace has each feature with similar features, but MAX has each feature as its own button, labled... I guess it was just easier to learn MAX...
