Hmmm... I don't know what went wrong but I'll try it again later. Im writting from a public computer rigt now because mine's in the hospital and I don't know for how long I'm going to be away from it ::cry: and because I have all my files on that pc I'll have to wait till further notice. But I'll upload it again as soon the pc arrives again.

You could try renaming the file from hmm....mp3 to something more logical like menu_1.mp3 and see if that helps. Never heard of that problem before, and everyone else I've sent it to can hear it just fine.

Maybe it's because he doesn't have the divx installed. After I installed that codec I could watch the video files from freespace 2 in windows media player, well, that's because I downloaded the files individually from the web. (I'm still writting from a public computer :( )

Hmmmm... interesting, I got exactly the same problem, the computer doesn't recognise the MP3 format, despite the fact it recognises all the stuff I've encoded to MP3. Possibly a very slight variation to the codec or the like?

Any clue on how I can change the codec easily? I do have DivX codec installed, but I wasn't aware it affected sound files. It might be because I edited the final version of the song using Adobe Audition 1.5...
