Well, it depends... My friend did it quite sucesfully for Red Vs Blue episodes, but his desktop was impossible to read... Depends on whether you want to use it for actual primary display or not...

Hell.... it just occured to me I could setup Mario Kart / Goldeneye 64 (if I can find the ROM for it) on a dual screen with me PC and spanking new 21" LCD...... hehe.

Well I busted the converter (damn thing came apart when I took it out of the socket, breaking one of the black wires). .. So...there goes that idea. ;)

I doubt it would've worked on that old junk anyway.

LOL It seems that the SCART protocals changed slightly about 5 years ago, and are not 100% compatible with the newer version anyway, some sort of problem with colour-transmission :(

I've done this before Hunty. Both of my machines have VGA/DVI/S-Video ports and they came with the appropriate cables, so I can easily hook it up to anything S-Video at the moment.

S-video in my opinion is the best option and is the easiest to set up. Plug it in and it works.

You can either use an S-Video out to S-Video in cable to connect your PC and TV, or an S-Video out to AV plugs (Red and White plugs).

That's about as much as I know, and ive skimmed the topic :P
