I'm running my laptop from an unproteced multiplug thingy at home, and any power-outlet I can find when I'm at school. Not sure wheter it survived it, though, the battery is acting mightily screwy lately.

My desktop system is behind a surge protector, but that's not a serious protection system.
Every time we see a lightning storm coming, we unplug everything, from the central heating to the TV's. Saved quite a lot of equipment after the neighbours house got struck, too.

Last night my car wouldn't start. The battery in there isn't that old either. Really have got no idea what is causing all this.

High amounts of staticin the air?

I think it's time for the Bell, Candle and Ouija board treatment

I guess so. As if to round off a crappy week I spent the whole of yesterday in bed with the flu.

I'm starting to agree that it's time to cast out the evil spirits.
