Hm... While re-reading this thread, I realized something... The F-15 is an American plane, and though other countries may have them, not many do. Japan certianly does not because after WWII, we TOLD them they could never have a Navy or an Air Force... So HIG doesn't know history that well either?

Well this has turned out to be an interesting thread. Who knew that my one post would lead to a never ending argument? HIG is pretty funny when it comes to misspells and mistakes, kasperl on the other hand has good arguing skills.
I got it! Why we could have ourselves our very own iternet soap opera. Maybe I'll be the narrator of this maybe not, but I'll probably come in time from time making a random post.

Actually, that's not technically true. The Japs weren't allowed a true, military force until 1995 (50 years after WW2) but they were allowed a "self Defence force" which was essentially the same thing. They were limited in some ways (for example, they had no long renge refuelers, which severely limited the effectiveness of the Japanese air force as an offensive unit) but they did have some degree of military force. Whether they had F-15s specifically though, I don;t know.Hippo wrote:Hm... While re-reading this thread, I realized something... What is the current story of the cancellation of the Raptor, anyway?
