And glass cutter = bad idea. Better see if you can find some foreign (cheap) kind of coins made of the same metal, and size&shape as British Pounds. I know a certain Bangkok coin works as a 2 Euro coin. The Bangkok thingy is worth like 10 ct too.
Well, the food was little chewy lolly things, and the problem with similar coins is that the only foreign coins I regularly come into cxontact with is New Zealand ones, which are generally the same size, shape and denomination as ours, which doesn't really save me much. There is a machine in my biology building that apparently takes a certain type of metal washer in place of $1 coins, but they've gone and slapped a "All proceeds go to Princess Maragret Hospital "(The local kiddies hospital) sticker on it, and I'm just too nice for my own good. The glass cutter was to cut the front off the thing, and take what I rightfully paid for...
