I have recently got hold of a copy of Freespace 2 after not playing in for probably 8 years. I have it loaded up on my computer. Everything seems to be ok except for one thing. Under the default set up. When you push the TAB key, that is your afterburner. And if hold it down, it continues to boost until the boost is used up. Well, for me, when I push the button, it goes for only a brief moment then stops. When you map it to another key, I have the same problem. Even when mapped to a button on the joystick.

Anyone know how to correct this problem?

I have it once in a while, but not all the time...

I recommend you use FreeSpace Open, they may have solved that. Dunno.

You may also want to use the MediaVPs, while you're at it. Make everything a lot prettier. Keep in mind that the ones that come with Turey's installer are corrupted, you'll have to install them manually.
