Mach 3

So, I've noticed a strange thing about these blades over the years. I usually purchase the regular Mach 3 blades, sometimes I will buy the Turbo edition blades but I have not really noticed any difference. Strange thing is, the first shave with a fresh blade is always a bit 'naff' shall we say. I don't know why, but the second shave is always the best. The third shave is just 'ok' and the fourth I will not go near. I only use them three times, as I have a tough beard that wears down the blades fast. So, am I imagining it because the blade is sharp on the first shave?

I've noticed that too... the first time seems rather harsh, the second-third seems smoother than a baby's bottom side, and the rest cause cuts if I try the same method I tried the previoud two times...

Have you considered purchasing an electric razor? (See: hair clippers, for best results)

I find the ability to simultaneously sit at one's computer and trim one's stubble to far outweigh any arbitrary value of "closeness." :P
