You are indeed a very odd man, sir.....CamInHead wrote:tbh I really hate modern cars. We had a Bentley Continental Flying Spur thing in work today and I was more interested in the 20yr old Corolla with rusty wheel arches. Now that would make a cool little daily drive. Especially "slammed" over some retro JDM rims.

She likes the car, too.

It's a very nice car. Got it yesterday; good engine, very good handling, good ride comfort. My only nitpick would be that the gearbox isn't quite as quick to change as the Clio (but then again, the Clio was battered into submission, so maybe it wasn't supposed to slip in and out of gear so speedily....).

Missing some bodykit under the front bumper
Not too far away too
There's a big Jap Car show thursday to sunday and I have the time off so, if I can get a viewing when I finish work, I might just about make it.
That blue coupe I was beaten too was my big hope for the show.
Oh and I was dead-set on not getting a red car but this is a low-mileage minter.

Once again external forces have forced a change of heart. I'll need something to experiment with, what with my new studies, and given it'll entail driving very fast I'm now thinking something cheap, with tweakable suspension and suitable for occasional track days.
So with that in mind I'm now thinking Mk1 MR2
or early MX-5
I've never been a fan of either but this is important and if I ace these studies could change my entire direction in life. And I don't especially like where it's been going so far....
