Evolution game (for lack of a better term). Makes heavy use of procedural techniques for both art and animation; the creature creature is basically what it says on the tin, and is particularly cool in that it allows you to make very odd body layouts and then procedurally generates animation from them.StRiD@R wrote:What is it?

If I'm likely to spend half as much time playing the game as I did playing with the creature editor the game is worth it for that alone. I loved the whole creature interaction bit in Black and White. Without a doubt that was the best part of the game. So I suspect I'll like Spore too.
EDIT: Might as well show off one of my babies. Long history for this one, they were originally a race I created for an pen and paper RPG. The original game had a race of fungi men but despite the original idea of having a plant-based intelligent life form they went and made them look very humanoid.
I later redesigned them to be more plant-like in nature.

It has dangly bits.
Amazingly, this thing (although not the game) runs on my laptop.
