I've gotten so used to drinking green tea that I cannot stomach the taste of black tea any more. But the green tea that I drink is Celestial Seasonings brand with a slight citrus flavour added. Good stuff.

I am more or less like that too. I used to drink some black tea and now I am don't any more. Green tea with citrus flavor is very refreshing. You might want to try some Japanese Sencha if you can find any. The tea is pale green and 'refreshingly' aromatic :)

You would think that this close to NYC I'd be able to get almost any product like that, but thus far Ive not seen anything with that name. Tho I was never looking specifically for it. I'll look closer now.

Try Flushing Mall, perhaps?

Hmm... somehow my knowledge of English and German doesn't help me there...

They are getting more and more common at the oriental grocery store. Make sure it's a product of Japan, because Chinese makes it too but it's not as good.

If you ever go to NY Chinatown or Flushing (Hong Kong Supermarket or KimSan grocery store at Main Street, Flushing), you should be able to get some for certain. Flushing Mall has a few stores that sell stuff (candies, snacks etc.) from Japan :D

For brewing (if you can find some), let your boiling water sit at room temperature for 5 minutes or so before you put your tea bag in. This is important because it doesn't taste that nice if you brew the tea with just boiled water and you can never get the tea pale green in color.

Heh, Well, I'm not gonna go into flushing, or any of the rest of the city for that matter, any time soon. Not a fan of cities, myself. But if I ever see it somewhere, Ill be sure to snag one. And litchi candies.
