Well at least Seoul is. Have you seen the kimchi guys there? They look like they puked out of their ass and poo'd out of their mouth. But the kimchi tasted good.

I think it depends what your after in life. It's not everyones cup of tea. Korea is not a popular tourist destination but it's a pretty up and coming country right now and has quite a few things going for it that other (first world) countries still slack behind in.

What he means is he only went there for the broadband.

I'm not a huge fan of Asian cuisine in general, so I don't really ever see myself even visiting those parts of the world. (That's beside the fact that I hate traveling in general. :P) Give me a good pizza any day.

And yet with me it's the reverse. Chinese food upsets me more. But you can't beat some of those sweet dishes, something Koreans just can't make that well. Luckily there are plenty of alternative foods here so you don't have to stick with that Korean cuisine. And yes, a true Pizza is grand but best not to be eaten too often.

Has anyone ever tried Thai? My brother can't get enough of it, but hates Chinese: He says its too greasy.

I, completely to the contrary love chinese, and find Thai to be quite absolutely dispicable.

In my experience it's only really 'fake' chinese that's greasy - there's a world of difference between that (including actual restaurants on the high street et al - i.e. anywhere in the western world with more western than chinese customers) and the proper Chinese places I've been to.

I'd imagine the same applies to Thai et al, too... would love to get some proper Japanese sushi sometimes. And Korean barbeque is the bestest.
