Well, there are two options here for this.
1. You go to Home Of The Underdogs and download FreeSpace 2 from there.
OR
2. You go to the SCP website and download the latest SCP build, then go and get the FreeSpace 1 Port, which will download the FS1 files to work on the SCP build (which by the way lets you play FS2).

root = All of the table and mission files
sparky = all of the textures and interface and models?
sparky_hi = high res interface
warble = music
stu = voice acting


Then there is the movies, which are quite large.

mods are selectable in tureys installer, freespace 1 is selectabloe in the installer, ect.

if you get every single thing offered (Amounts to over 100 hours of gameplay), the amount to download is about 1.4 gigs, so you'd best get it in pieces.

also, the mediavp's are available at hard-light forums and just add to your download time.

and another thing, many HTL mmodels have been made but arent in the mediavp's. check the HTL status thread in the freespace upgrade project forum for them

Ok, i need help. I set it up, but when I try to click Play it says I need to configure my system and click ok to launch the launcher, but then ti just quits. HELP!

Nevermind. I wasn't using the SCP launcher. And I DID download OpenAL. All is gonig smoothly for the most part, except I can only use my gamepad, and not my joystick, for some reason.
