TBMs don't work for me...
Some times ago, I tried to install the GTF Losna (which used a TBM, IIRC). I couldn't use it until I pasted the TBM into the TBL.

I had the same problem with ITDOH (episode 2 and 3, IIRC): I couldn't use them until they were released in a VP.

And thankyou Karajorma, this TBM thing is working for me so far, but I am curious as to how I open it and edit it and all of that crap, so can you please tell me whether or not there are any other programs that I need to download to open, make and edit them?

Or is it just the same as with TBLs?

Are you sure the tbm was set up correctly?

With the

#ship class (I think this is what goes here, atleast)

Its just a text file. Use notepad.

Phew, I thought so. Thanks. Oh and by the way, do I have to title it like *blahblahblah.tbm*?

something-shp.tbm IIRC

that's for ships, though. I think it's -wpn.tbm for weapons, but Ive not done any of this for years (since it initially came out, really) so Im not the best one to answer this. Its likely on the wiki.

Yes, I tried to extract the ITDOH TBMs and they didn't work unless VPed.

Is there anything that would be different (for sounds and crap) INside the tbm?

e.g *ship class = ???

By the way Karajorma, I discovered that the ultimate source of relentless evils within my FS2 directory was in fact the SSD Diabolo. Stupid Shivans, cause the great war, mumble, Incur twice, mumble, ruin everything, mumble....
