Help with a shape of room

1
I want to make a room that would have all sides angled inwards toward the bottom, so as to be a sort of observation room over a large one. However, I'm having trouble doing this. I had to strighten the walls to add windows, and now I can't get them back, because the window part doesn't move with the rest. Any ideas how I could get the whole thing to act like one face when the vertices on the bottom are moved? I'm using the Atan build, but normal users are welcome to help too.

Can't you just select both and move them that way, or did I miss something? :?

yes you, did. I need all the separate faces to move as if they were one, when I move the vertices.

OR, I'd also take an alternate way to build that same thing. Actually, It crashed before I save, so easier methods are better than fixes, right now.

To move multiple faces at the same time, mark them in face mode, then use the numpad to move them. See the green button labled 'Key' ? Press it to get a list of keys.

If by window, you mean a portal with glass, if you move the portal you will almost certinly break it. This is because the portal is in two rooms, and you cannot move a face in two rooms at the same time. But you can delete the portal, move each face, then rejoin the rooms.

There might be better ways to build, but since I can't see what you are doing, it's hard to help.

If you built a cubish room, and want it tapered in at the bottom, you could select the bottom face and hit 'Contract Face'.

BTW, Atan has released V38.
