Not that any of you would care but...

Watched the final State of Origin game last night between Queensland and New South Wales. Queensland won 16 - 14, winning us this years series. It was pretty much neck and neck throughout the match, one of the better games I've seen in a long while. Both sides played really well.

I laughed so much at the end of the game though. They're announcing the party to present the shield to the team captain, and read in "the Honorable John Howard" (our Prime Minister for those who don't know) and the crowd boo'ed at him.

Poor johnny got booed (again). Ahhh, I'm still chuckling at that.
He just laughed it off of course. Probably getting used to it by now. LoL!

It's a good game. It has its flaws, but so does every sport. I watch League and Union. Only ones I don't watch is AFL (ariel ping pong), which just does not make sense to me no matter how much I watch it. =/

As for the rugby, I did happen to see the end of this game - Queensland were down and then came from nowhere in the last 10 minutes. Good finish.

I'm trying to get my hands on a copy to watch it again while sober.
