Funny thing was, the week before the hosepipe ban was enforced that were running a story in our local papers 'What if the Spring Rain causes the local dams to overflow!!1!'

They put bans on you guys? They realized long ago that banning doesn't work on NYers, so they simpy told us all that water prices are going up 40%.

Nevermind that it's been raining since Saturday...

For nearly more than a year now, we've had no hosing restrictions during certain hours, no sprinklers, and they have regular ads promoting water conservation.

Whiney Londonites!
We've been in a drought for years!

Soon they'll bring in the next level of restrictions, no hosing at all. reducing the water limit on houses etc.
