How is it going? I'll call the buggers if you like.Hunter wrote:Near St. Albans in Hertfordshire. Problem is it's easy to miss, I did on the first go and we had to turn around.
It's a motel basically. They did great burgers too!
Ninety-nine percent of women kiss with their eyes closed; which is why it's so difficult to identify a rapist.

This sounds like a lot of fun. Too bad I'm not in the UK.
Post pictures and writeups when you're done, okay?

Yeah, as well as that for 14 hours of time in college I'm only in lessons for 6 hours of it, most of that time being post-noon on Friday. Sigh.

I'll check the trains.
They seem to be okay on the 3rd. I can get a train from Liverpool to Huddersfield with no changes and get there in under 90 minutes. £16. But would anywhere be open?

Splendid.
And for anyone coming from London, and possibly this applies to the other end of the GNER line (Edinburgh/Newcastle/Wherever):
And here's a thing. These el-cheapo GNER tickets are only valid on the train specified, at the time specified, in the seat specified. So if you were to miss your connection in Leeds/Manchester/Wakefield, you'd be, to put none to fine a point on it, fucked.
So, it may be better to gather in Leeds and then get the bus to Huddersfield. Which would be about £4 cheaper each way, as well.
