Small Modeldump

Alright... as it was suggested I should make a small model dump, I have here assembled a slew of models that are in various states of completion.

Some are fully completed scenes that will convert perfectly with the pof exporter plugin. I assume they'd be good for anyone who wants to learn a proper set up...

Some of these are models that I've not shown anyone... others have been seen all over.

The hatshepsut, if i did actually include it was in the alpha stages of smoothing. The mentu was being editted in my and lightspeed's vision.

Hmm. I tried to make sure that anything I shoved in there wasn't for a project I work for. I don't think any were.


The ships in the max files ship neck, and ship neck sister are almost completly done. Missing LODs and debris, IIRC. Others are just random ideas... nothing solid. I've not been in the mood to model forever.

You'll need 3d Max 7 to view the scene files. And those are honestly the most interesting.

The files is 2.7 MB, because I included no image maps. Some fighters are UVed completely. Others haven't even been considerred.

I hope someone puts some of these to good use. I'm not a talented modeller, but every now and again I get lucky.

Meh. I only got 5 replies for the harpy. By your logic, Trashman, who regularly gtes multi page threads, is the best modder in the community...

Keep in mind that you've openly stated tha the Max files are the most interesting part of the dump, and then said we need the very latest version of Max to view them. I'm 4 versions behind being able to even see most of the dump, and I'd say a lot of other people are too.

As for the 3ds files, there's not a single thing on there I don't like. Fighters 2 and 3 and especially that "forward turret" capship thing are probably the best though.

Mm. A lack of response makes me think that no one cares, and that, therefore, my efforts, time, and energy are wasted. Maybe I need validation in my life... Who knows.
