I like a lot of the crusiers and corvettes, personally. And some of the fighters are pretty cool. Others (the Vesuvius and the Cyone, primarily) are crap, IMO.

Addenum: I'm not really a fan of the Warlock. I like the Vasudan heavy carrier, but the Warlock doesn't look that good to me.

Thanks for the suggestions. As to why Shivan-Terran hybrid, I think I have a more convincing reason for the mission series I'm working on than a Terran-Shivan alliance (although that's not saying much).

As has been stated many times before, there is no benefit to the shivans from allying with Terrans. I mean they've cleaned our clocks twice, would you ally with someone so obviously you're inferior?

Thus, it could only really be a Terran fighter developed from/using reverse engineered engineered Shivan systems.

I agree there. We need a better new basic-SS fighter than the tall, non-FS-looking Vesuvius.

Yeah... some of the reskins out there are bad. Some are pretty good, but others (including that one) are horrible. The concept is bad to begin with... and the reality is even worse.

I think the concept could be pulled off... but not with a simple reskin and not the implication that it's a fleet vessel.

Beam cannons are at least a partial development of Shivan tech, same with shields.
