Stupid people who pretend to be smart are right up there.

http://www.cryingvoice.com/Evolution/index.html

I'm a donosaur buff and studying Geology, so I was particularly irritated by stuff like "The Hydroplate Theory" and "Dinosaurs are still alive". I've done less than six months of Geology, with about 5 hours per week and I can already refute 90% of the stuff on this page - It's that basic.

And the really irritating thing is that I founf this and several other sites while google searching for plesiosaur images. Cant Google filter this stuff by making sure you're searching for plesiosaur AND moronic or something? :x

I like how they're using the shapes of Nebulae to prove the existance of god. :wtf:

i'm scared of KT...

i believe in one thing...i was born...i stopped caring about creationism and evolutionism....

if i HAD to chose one or the other i'd chose evolution as there is more proof...

Creationism is just some guy in the year 0 A.D. giving people magic tricks... A traveling magician if i do say so myself... :| oh he was either a magician or a jedi...

There's enough evidence backing evolution to more than prove it in general terms. Granted, the creationists keep ignoring the fact that the evolutionists themselves admit the details may be wrong.

Transitional species between fish and reptiles:
Answer: They're called amphibians.

That's just one example I could find within two minutes. The line of bull they're feeding about archaeopteryx indicates that a) they have no understanding of the processes of fossilization and b) they don't understand the current theories surrounding archaeopteryx or compsagnathus, or the fact that they may be closely related.

There's also the fact that you wouldn't have a properly developed furcula in an early bird. The best guesses I've heard lately had archaeopteryx as flying about as well as a chicken. Not good, but good enough. The modern orders of birds don't emerge until the Cretaceous.

I had a class on this last semester, and we went over some of this, including the place of archaeopteryx.

You ever noticed how people who believe in creationism look really unevolved? Ya ever noticed that? Eyes real close together, eyebrow ridges, big furry hands and feet.

"I believe God created me in one day"

Yeah, looks liked He rushed it.

Bill Hicks - Revelations
Pretty much sums up my opinion on Creationism.

*backs away slowly as thread begins to heat up dangerously*

Belated note to Hunter: shouldn't this be in the Rants forum?

People that post religious threads are just itching for a flamewar.
