I'm guessing it's a little late to try getting an account that acutally works out of them...

Hunter needs to disable guest accounts :p

It had a good run, but like I said there, better to go out quietly than in flames.

Not really, just heard that everything is moving to Hard Light Productions.
Which is good news, TBP and BWO will live on, only under a different banner..
I`m not sure of the other projects though, they seem to be pretty dead at best.. Was hoping United Space would survive, but can`t be sure at this time..

Maybe a few of the projects will find there way to Sectorgame. The future is looking better for FS2.

(edit) disable guest accounts, why.. Isn`t that a means to bring in new people to the community

I see only good things coming because of this

More newbies register at VWatch than HLP. Plus with only two (and a half I guess) major FS sites left (HLP and SG, the half being nodewars) that's less community - sure, we'll have a denser community, but I suspect we'll lose people as well. Not everyone likes HLP after all, and SG isn;t as well known.

Guest accounts are enabled for those wanting to post without registering.. Since too many people register then disappear.

The biggest problem is the link on the freespace2.com site. It leads to Vwatch, but not to HLP. That's an extremely bad thing.

That's because HLP didn't exist. So it's not a bad thing. And don't expect it to be updated now after so long.

*shrugs* So we post a little bit on HLP and put up SG links in our sigs, that might attract a few people over here. Plus, we advertise TI and Hidden Terror some.
