Forums are down with a MySQL warning, Site is down with MySQL warnings (looks really funny when you scroll downn a bit), and the wiki is down with MySQL warnings.

Someone at gamespy switched Mr Coffee Machine for Mr MySQL Machine.

I imagine someone tried to fix something that wasn't broken.

VWBB, NW, WS.

VWBB is dead as a rock, I'm banned from NW, and I did post a thread on WS.

Is it a HLP specific error? This morning 3DActionPlanet was down too (although it's back up now).

Some of the hosted sites at HLP are up, though.

This is weird.

No, not wierd. As far as I can see, the database is down, but the dynamic server itsself is up, and so is the normal FTP and HTTP . That means that anything that needs to use something from a database (Wiki, Forums, dynamic HLP site) will be broken. However, if something uses just PHP without a database, it will run on the dynamic server, but still work. And if something is just a file or plain HTML, it'll work too.

It's a fairly isolated problem, and it seems someone on gamespy just lit their fart with their ass pointing at the wrong machine.
