Hell is coming?

Here's an interesting article (posted on DBB). This is a very long read, but definitely worth it - Even if it's a fake, it's one of the best I've seen. As for the subject of the matter, uh - yeah.. Haven't decided what to believe yet :?

I'm putting money on fake... There's too much information there...

Too much caps, not enough line breaks and paragraphs.

It's late, and I'm too tired to read the bloke's idiocy and brake it down bit by bit. The NASA image he posted could be a radio observation of some starsystem, for all I know. He uses too crappy English to be a doctor, if you ask me. And he mentioned running. If there are indeed rocks coming from the sky in any size to worry about, there is no where to run, since the maths to point out the impact location would be pretty damn hard. If it really is big enough to do serious damage to the human race, then there is surely nowhere to run to. And if it's localised enough to run from, why hasn't there been action?

If there is nothing we can do about it, let's all go down like we don't know what will happen. Ignorance is Bliss. Unless I can fight the Agents with any chance of succes, give me the blue pill and shove that red pill up your ass. (Did I mix up the colours? It's been some time since I saw The Matrix.)

I glanced at the story while saving it as TXT on my laptop, and I read something about 'the effects of the debris cloud from the crab nebulae corssing out solar system'. WTF? That Nebulae is what, 75 light years away?
*checks wikipedia*
Erm, I quote:
The Crab Nebula is located approximately 6,500 light years away, in the Taurus constellation.
So I was off by a factor 100, who cares, I was off in the right direction....
Anyway:
Any serious amount of matter isn't traveling at any speed near the speed of light. Not after that distance anyway. The only damage a supernova can do is when it is within 50 LY from Earth, in which case it'll just f### up the Ozone layer. Aside from that, we're just set up to watch the fireworks.

I'll pick it apart during Sciences, I geuss.

Yeah, there are lots of errors and thingies - Some of it seems to make sense, and then something comes up that's totally wrong, IE the crab nebula and white dwarf s###. Also the emphasis and lack of paragraphs makes it REALLY hard to read. But I know some people TEND to type like that when they're typing manically (usually bad-ass story writers).

You know, alot of these things about Solar activity increasing and daylight 'darkening' etc have already been explained to a large degree, simply by the fact that 50 years ago, the equipment wasn't nearly as sensitive ;)

You have to admit it's the best fake ever created - Assuming it IS a fake ;)

Oh, it's very cleverly done, it seems to be worded like this...

And the bits come from a comet which looks like < link >
And they'll make a crater that looks like < link >
etc....
But never once do I see any evidence of the 'reality' of the original data.

It's kinda like trying to hide a tiny bit of bullshit in a huge pile of truth ;)

Well, the first impact zone is due to start tomorrow, so we'll know soon enough :D

This was already confirmed a fake by it's creator. Very good though.
