*sigh* It IS evil, isn't it? I don't know what grade level you guys are in, or if you're even going to school anymore, but I'm going to rant anyway, lol.

I'm in college. Which in itself is fine. But the HOMEWORK! It takes me 3 hours to do my math now, as opposed to MAYBE 1 hour. Mostly cuz my teacher is assignment happy. I also have German, which takes forever to do as well. Homework to the left, homework to the right. My other two classes, thankfully, haven't piled much on. Yet. I have a feeling speech class is going to be fuuuuuuun once it gets going..... :headbang:

And now I'm sick too. But see, I'm not allowed to take care of myself or have a life, cuz I have homework from school. My parents had to literally force me to go to bed early last night so I could get well. I agreed with them, only because it was getting hard to walk in a straight line and talk coherently.

Needless to say, this means I'm backed up on homework now. Going to bed early one night means the next few nights are going to be all-nighters to catch up.

*sigh* Is this the same for any of you guys? Or any lessening degrees? Also, is anyone else in college too? This is my first year. Could you give me any tips on how to deal with everything and not go insane? If you can, truthfully-- thank you.

*runs off to do homework*

I'm heading off to uni on the... 28th of Feb, though I move 10 days earlier. You have just succeeded in stressing me out about... well, at least 1.5 times. Thanks so much.

Eh..... Ooops. :p

Well, um, good luck to you, Black Wolf. I may have ranted a bit but I may be able to give you advice anyway. :)

I have MCAS this year... Similar to the Bac in france, only if you don't pass the M.C.A.S. (Massachussettes Child Abuse System :p) you can't graduate... and they won't let you drop out just because they fail... Plus i take SATs this year, and have exams all week... The school adopted a trial open campus though, which is sweet :p

hehe i've been through that, too.

The actual exams turned out to be ridiculously easy though. (altho teachers have been going 'oh god oh god' before)

I don;t see why not - my internet status might be a bit iffy for a few weeks, but I'll still have my comp, I'll still have FRED and I'll still be able to make at the very least semi regular contact. Don't stress, I wont be abandoning you all :)

Well, that's a relief, I can produce content, but I'd be damned if I could organise it ;)

I remember Homework, or rather, I used to forget homework.....frequently. I hated it, it was bad enough that the bastards should take away half your day at school, and then they co-erce you into doing more at home.
That said, it does help to study at home, but I'd rather study what I choose to study because I'd at least be motivated to do it :)

Yeah, I'm already pretty busy with study and coursework, and will get really bogged down in the coming months (unless I quit).

at 16 i've got the most s### i ever had in school. this is the last year where i take subjects i don't like at all, like French and German. i have to do exams in those, and i have to get at least a 5,5 (out of 10) for both to be able to have a little slack at my exams, but at most a 3,6 for one and a 4,6 for another. any lower and i can't participate in the final exams in 2 years. i currently have a 2,6 (French) and a 3,7 (Gertman) to count for 30% of my final grade.
