Sectorgame

I'm considering setting up a small Patreon for the site, this would be to cover the hosting costs/domain etc and overall upkeep of the sites, plus it would potentially free up some time later for updates. The tier levels would be very small, only $1 up to $10 at maximum.

Currently Sectorgame contains:

• The forums (here you are)
• Freespace Files + personal accounts
• Descent Files
• Descent 3 Sector
• Descent Mission Archive (DXMA)
• Old hosted content (SCP, Goober, Shiv, Aldo etc)
• Other random bits and bobs.

Any thoughts on this? I realize that it makes little sense for such an old series of sites, but maybe it'll give me some motivation for doing more 'later on' if there is ever a need for that.

You can count on me and my contributions For the sake of clarity, you can also specify the amount needed to keep things running vs. what annual amount has been already reached thanks to the contributors.

I am not sure a numbered target is necessary, I do not expect there to be any substantial amounts coming from this idea. If that were to change I can add goals for partially funding the server annually, but since I also use it for personal stuff it wouldn't be entirely fair to request the full amount. I'll be happy with just single digit contributions since it shows there is still some support out there

I think I can afford something to keep the lights on.
