Things that mums/moms say

Ok, so I don't know about you lot, but my mum often comes out with the most retarded / annoying and/or downright stupid statements that make me want to pull my hair out. I guess it'd be fine if I only heard them once in a blue moon, but when you hear them so often and with such frequency, it makes you wonder if your ole mum is quite right in the processor.

Anyway, from now on, I think I will keep a list of these strange statements that my mum makes purely to annoy me.

So, today it was:
She asks me: Dad tells me your computer is in Korean?

Yes?

So she replies, with a condescending tone: Don't you like English anymore then?

I live in Korea and use a Korean built computer.

I guess you aren't aware I have a degree in Korean and a Korean O/S is a vital part of the learning process.

BTW - Windows software cannot be changed to English that easily, smartass. You have to actually buy an English O/S and install it as new.

Exactly.

I really wish I could install a multi-lingual version of Windows. I could leave it in Chinese most of the time but when I really needed to hit the metal I'd have the option of reverting to something I understand better.

For XP, they don't completely convert it, and it ruins your file paths. Not sure how $e7en works, though.
