EVE online has been DDos attacked by a similar hacking group to the one that took down Sony.
Sony I can understand. But now I'm pissed.

I have to say that's fairly impressive to take down a cluster as powerful as the EVE server cluster. Despicable, but impressive nonetheless.

They didn't, actually. The EVE guys took their own cluster down to check for any attempt at actual hacking rather than mere DDoS.

I imagine the report reads like this: "At 0800 hours, technicians noticed a minor spike in traffic and fell over laughing when they realize it was a lulzsec DDoS, tripping over the primary fiber line in the process."

Given that CCP is generally incompetent at almost everything I wonder if their security actually would've stood up to an intrusion attempt (as opposed to a DDOS).

EVE Online, widely known as a hilariously ill-supported product produced by a company that routinely breaks its own game with 'features' and then decides to add more features instead of fixing them*

I won't dispute the support is often mediocre, but I've no idea where you're going with the second part. Although from reading the Forums t looks like you may predicting the near future...

All of it has happened before (a lot) - dominion, stealth bombers, motherships, tech moons, I CBA to look up the rest

I can't comment on "tech moons" (you mean moon mining? I've never heard that term used before), but you surely can't expect everything to be perfectly balanced right out of development. Stealth bombers and motherships were a HUGE change. Unbalanced, perhaps, indeed some things in EVE are horribly balanced, but not to the point I'd call it broken. I quit EVE for financial reasons, and boredom (form my own lack of willingness to get out and do something) not for these "broken" things.
You wanna quote this too so you can trollolol? What is this, the EVE forums? Nobody here cares enough about what I just said for it to be worth editing.
