Hah, who would've thought that :D Wonder if it's only this specific penguin, or if they all do that...

I am guessing this is something they must do in the wild, too. :D

Check out BBC Life and Planet Earth, if you've not seen it. That includes a few Penguin segments IIRC.

Yeah. I loved the bit when they decided to save the baby chick that had fallen through the ice.

Public Service Announcement: people in the US should get the UK, not US, versions of Planet Earth.

(NB: is it just me, or are DVDs a LOT more expensive in the US?)

If I want to watch something, I can probably find it on satellite or just use a torrent then delete it after I'm done. Even youtube has episodes of certain shows or you can watch full episodes on the channel's website. No need to buy any media if I watch it only once or twice anyways. Same with video game ROMs and emulators.

A copyright claim on a 2-minute video of you walking a baby penguin down a hall? That's just sad.

And the internet grows one step closer to fail.

I can't say I blame her for getting the first link taken down. If I went to all the trouble of getting something that is going to get that many hits up on YouTube I'd be somewhat annoyed at some twat coming along and posting the exact same damn video I did.

Especially as the original owner is taking the trouble to answer questions on the second link.
