The renderer appears to have bowed the image, a tad. It's actually straight.

w/Smooth == 47554 faces. And each side has just over 10,000 faces. I'm using way too many polygons. :/

Looks nice but... what is it supposed to be?
I would have guessed some kind of phone booth but it says "Police" on the side . I don't know why you would need a separate type of phone booth for calling the police specifically.
The only thing it makes me think of definitively is "British"... specifically what is in Britain that's not in Canada.

I think it is some kind of armoured phone booth, specifically for calling the cops and waiting inside until they arrive. In case there's people outside wanting to kill you, or something. It's a pretty cool idea IMHO, though probably not that useful in everyday life.
