While the original story was good
A Catholic school in Australia has apologised to parents after teachers awarded a costume prize to a child dressed as Adolf Hitler.
The class of nine- and 10-year-olds had been asked to dress up as famous people at the school in Western Australia.
Teachers declared the winner to be a boy who dressed as the Nazi leader, who was wearing an outfit featuring the swastika.
The principal said in hindsight the school would have done it differently.
the connected story was better
Last week, another school in western Australia received widespread criticism after a teacher asked students to plan a terrorist attack as part of an assignment.
You do have to wonder who came up with that idea.

You really have to wonder what you do for extra credit though.

There seems to be a big thing about dressing up as Hitler, as though merely wearing the clothing will turn the person into a genocidal maniac, it's like saying that dressing up as Micheal Jackson at a fancy dress party means you might be a paedophile.
If it was a good hitler costume, then I don't really see the problem.
The planning for a Terrorist attack, however, displays a far higher level of silliness on the part of the teacher.

The sad truth is the students would probably plan and execute better than anyone who's actually conducted one, with a few exceptions such as Lockerbie and the Alfred P. Murray building.

I still think there is some validity in the theory that terrorist activities are increasingly being carried out by the retarded because good suicide bombers are already dead.

Fervent enough belief to blow up people you've never met and who are clearly not attempting or able to cause your imminent demise damages mental functioning.

Seeing as you can only do said act once, I'd say any mental damage resulting from it is a moot point.

I think the difference here is that planning a bank heist would involve a fictional bank while planning a terrorist attack would probably result in the class planning how to blow up something which was all too real.
Hell, the bank robbery one sounds like fun, the other one would get me deported.

Oh, you can bomb something more than once. You just need a delay.

Without juju root it's pretty hard to suicide bomb more than once though. And even then you've got to spend quite a while stitching yourself back together again.

Notice my two bombings listed didn't involve suicide?

It was implied by context.

If you hear 'bomb' and think 'suicide bomb', I'm pretty sure that means the politicians have won.
