Was just curious, which game people prefer out of these two: Rome Total War or Medieval 2 Total War? I have them both installed at the moment, playing their campaigns.

Assuming anyone here plays either of these two

I've only played Medieval 2, and to be honest I'm not that fond of it since the AI is pretty damn cheaty as opposed to actually skilled at the game. GalCiv2 spoiled me.

On the other hand, hilarity can be had with the custom campaign mod.

My brother's a huge fan of the latter, so I'll go with that by default. It's legitimately fun to sit down and watch him play, too.

Only played Rome. I enjoyed it a lot.
