Heh. I just reinstalled MW4:Mercs yesterday.
I still found it amusing, just in need of a graphics upgrade. (mostly to fix the horrid textures)

I've heard that "soon" is somewhere around August, when they release the newest version of their Mekpak along with it.
EDIT: I forgot to mention that I heard this from their forums.

That's cool news, I have MW:4 Vengeance and Black Knight but never played Mercenaries. Told myself to buy it a long time ago but it never happened.
