hello all

i have track ir 4 pro, i cant seem to get it to work with freespace open.
is tere a file i need or something?

wow what a great game. many thanks to all who devoted their time to make this classic

Hmmmm. That's the second report I've heard that Track IR 4 doesn't work with FS2_Open any more.

I know a couple of people with Track IR. I'll ask them.

ok i got it working, i just added this dll file FS2_TrackIR.dll
its cooool

here, at the bottom of the first post.
this download has two files,
just take FS2_TrackIR.dll and put it in the main free space folder.
discard the other file

I thought Swifty had made that dll obsolete.

I'll have a word when I next see him but you may want to try FS2_Open 3.6.10 RC2

yep, mine started to work when i inserted that dll in the main directory, and man...does it work great!

thanks for the word on the second build exe.
one question:
the other builds i can just delete them right?

If the new ones work, yeah, you can delete any other FS2_Open ones. I advise you to keep Fred.exe, Freespace2.exe and FS2.exe as those are the retails files, will be a minor pain to replace, and may be useful if you ever decide to start modding.
