Yep, a Japanese prehistoric Shark is found alive in the depths of the ocean beyond the reach of the sun, where little resides. Check out from 20 seconds. Remind you of anything? ;)

looks like a regular goblin shark to me.
not prehistoric iirc.

Coloration and gill structure don't look like that to me.

The Abyssal Zone could hide all manner of things. We don't spend much time down there at all. However, this is not the Abyssal Zone, because you don't wear diving gear like that below say 650 feet. (At a certain point you just can't carry enough air for both descent and ascent/decompression to have any significant bottom time.)
