PC World were doing 3 for 2 again, so I bought :-

Chrome : 3d Halo Wannabe
Fire Warrior : Play a Tau Fire warrior in the Warhammer 40k universe.
Apocalyptica : Shoot guns, cast spells, can't go wrong ;)

I'll post my verdicts later. Oh yes, and I can TCP/IP people at Homeworld 2, I hate going to the online areas, and getting beaten because of (a) lag, (b) coming up against the World Homeworld 2 champion :(

Well, I've just been playing Fire Warrior, and apart from a few annoying bugs (namely menu problems and sound goes 'nyip nyip nyip' all the way through the movies), it's pretty good. I've only played the first level, which is up against Imperial Guard, and gives the strange feeling you did this in Doom years ago ;) Little bit jerky too, but it might just be the level, I'll wait and see :)

LOL Well, Apocalyptica is my favourite storyline, it's set after the Apocalypse (big surprise) and Neo-Satan <g> is winning. You play genetically enhanced warriors of God. It's tacky, it's cliched, and yet despite this, it's absolutely great! And the music is cool too, I'll see if I can get a screenshot and find out what music format they use ;)
