I'm not, because it's storyless classless uninventive unoriginal uncreative dross that isn't worthy of the excercise it would take me to utter more syllables than referring to tat game as 'it'.

Yes. Tell me one thing GTA4 brought to gaming that something hasn't already, and don't say 'Serbians'.

Dunno, not played it yet (and to be honest, I thought you were referring to the series as a whole anyways).

But do you mean singular innovations or composite? Because innovation can be more than doing x or y, it can be doing x and y together. And the reviews I've seen are indicating that's GTA4s main innovation - the changes made to the whole experience, rather than the specific addition of some particular bullet point (how many games have actually innovated in the last few years, anyways?)

EDIT; for innovations, also read 'concepts'. 'experiences' or whatever. I'm wont to believe doing something really really well counts in that regard - Freespace 2 is a good example of that IMO.

Reviews gave GTA 4 solid 10s and 100s which is simply absolutely ridiculous, claiming that the game has absolutely not a single flaw whatsoever, the graphics are as good as technology allows, it's innovative and brings many new aspects of gaming and new ideas and combinations to the field of play, the story, script and voice acting was Oscar-worthy, and the gameplay wasn't a thrill from the novelty of beating old women with bricks and stealing cars that wore off after more than three hours of play.

Nothing is wrong with Serbians at all, and I'm not saying there is. It's just that the main character in GTA 4 is pretty much the only Serbian main character in any game ever, hence one may say they are an innovation :P

Whilst I'd agree that awarding 100% marks to any game is ridiculous, I'd also have to note that 10/10 in particular rarely means 'flawless' but 'as close to flawless as possible' within the context of the state-of-the-art.

Anyways, so you've played it then?

Yes, I found it incredibly boring and generally unimpressive, but I suppose I've thought that about every GTA game.
