This is just incredible. Where do they think gravity originates from? The middle of the disc? Surely then you would be lighter at the ends! Is it constant throughout the disc? Then surely you wouldn't fall off, you walk onto the other side of the disc!
The absolute idiocy and complete obsinance and ignorance of fools like this is what damns us as being a race of morons.

Ugh. The world is full of such people. It's amazing. Reminds me of the riots here about importing American beef, despite there actually being no cases of mad cow for years anywhere in the world. They made up tons of false facts just to legitimize their rioting.

Oh, I dunno, variety is the Spice of life and all that.
Yes, I don't believe them for a moment, but it's harmless enough, they don't believe strongly enough for it to interfere with their daily lives, I notice.
I suppose this is like a science version of SA Goons or the like, if it didn't annoy people, it would have ceased to exist years ago.
