Hey guys,
I'm looking for a good space game(shooter, RTS, whatever) to pass the time over the spring. Any suggestions as to what i should download?

I've been playing around with Vega Strike and Oolite of late, both quite fun games, but Vega Strike can be a bit crashy in my experience so save often 
Both are freeware. Oh, and Vega Strike also has a somewhat annoying interface.

Ok, Ok! Well, I'm usually the one who says Descent isn't a space sim, anyway...
