What did you guys use to do to waste useless time before you had Net access ?
Y'know, when you have an hour or two with nothing to do and nowhere to go ?
Honestly, I can't remember. :|

Dota. That word used to mean something to me before CoD4 multiplayer and WHOnline.

Well I was a kid back then, so I used to build stuff with lego. Either I would expand my lego town, or modify it in some fashion - or build space ships and play with those.

LEGOS! I used to build many things with those. I onlt had a small bucket, so I couldn't build alot. I managed to build a Mechwarrior once. I think I still have some parts around here somewhere....

I built an island complete with airport, police station, holiday resort, apartments, shops, gas station and some houses.

I also had in excess of one hundred Trek ships by the end of my building years. They were just small though, but fun to play around with. I remember my friend wanted to smash them all up in a battle, but I wouldn't let him damage them because rebuilding them was too hard.

Instead I let him use my hundreds of Lego figures and Mech's / Vehicles for ground based warfare

Hmmm... Well depends how far back you go, anything from Lego and Plastic Soldiers when I was very young to Warhammer and Amstrad CPC games :)
