Link.
"The Polk County Sheriff's Office says Hiram Angus Melvin was charged Wednesday with possession of a hoax weapon of mass destruction, two other weapons charges and a violation of probation."
A hoax weapon of mass destruction?
Time to start up the Bush jokes, I guess.

That's not funny. I said something along those lines at Heathrow and got hold up for half an hour. Luckily I arrived early.

Oh. That sucks... Err... omit my previous statement then...
I wish there was more details into what the weapon actually was, other than the fact he also had a fake rocket launcher. Where do people get the ideas to do these things, just asking for trouble.

A freind of mine got detained in a French airport for five days once.
It was in the middle of a big terrorist scare, but detaining him for refusing to hand over a
USB key containing vital business-trip related documents was a bit irrational.

'Orly? I 'ardly know 'er!
That statement was made based on old information, and it appears that eBay no longer allows the sale of completed demilitarized weapons. Silly me.
I did see an actual demilitarized rocket launcher once. Though, the price seemed a bit steep at the time.
