I've finally got D3 working. Had to download the multiplayer only version, then applied the single player files manually. All I need now is a joystick.

Eve is impossible to grasp! I downloaded the free trial yesterday and it took me 1 hour to learn how to move the camera! The bloody camera!!!

It's very rewarding and thrilling once you get into it, especially the early days.

Sounds like you didn't do the tutorial. EVE is very harsh on the push a button and see what it does crowd.
