Strange rodent goings on

Please help with incredible advice and soothing words.
I am a little worried, my mouce just started to move in a perfect straight line to the right on screen on its own. Does anyone know what this could be?

Happens sometimes with optical mice. Never been a real problem for me.

Get a Labtec mouse, mine has been going strong for... years. Seriously, I can see the marks that clicking has put on it.

Quite scarily, no. I don't actually have an optical mouse. Any other suggestions?
