The silence.......

Honestly, this is probably one of the least active forums I've ever been too. I am not really complaining, just stating a fact. I have a question, how can we encourage more (good) activity?

Your right. Interestingly enough, the server is going faster than ever. To be honest encouraging activity, it's been done to death. We've had our time, and now... Well I guess it's nearing the end. All good things come to an end.

Well, as you've said before, it's a question of focus, everything FS2 is more or less covered by Hard Light and Game Warden, until TI and the other Mods get moving properly again, the site has no real focus. Even the Eve idea kind of ran out when people stopped playing or, in my case, ran out of cash irl.

Thing is with me, I haven't played any computer games for ages that have made me think 'Wow! I wonder if there's a community out there?', you can either go for stuff which will bring in the numbers, and the problems, or maybe diversify into general 'gaming' or the like, not really sure.

Do we need to? Its evolved into a 3 layer general chat forum, and that's no bad thing when HLP covers most things to do with Freespace. I suppose as the guy who's paying for it Hunter might think differently, but for me, it is fine enough as it is.

EVE section died with the corp more than anything.

If TI wakes up, this would probably change after some propgandization, but barring that or something coming out of nowhere, it's not likely to change really.

Also, speaking of Gamewarden, where the heck is it? I get a blank page now whenever I try to load the site. :/

Heh, I liek this place being kinda slow... Few new members, so we have time to get used to them before new ones come through. This place also serves as a spillover if HLP goes down. This place has a quaint atmosphere, and I rather enjoy it compared to the other D3 boards that I visit. Mostly the two DescentBBs.

Seems, TCs aside, FS modding has pretty much flat-lined....

It's also been the fact that University and things have happened for a lot of people, when we started our Mod, and TI is one of the younger Mods out there, we were all either at school or in a 9-5 job, now Black Wolf isn't around as much, I'm around, but been dealing with all sorts of things of late, VA is around, but there's not much point to him posting when no-one else is etc.

When was the last time it was done? Does that mean we should just give up?

EDIT: Come to think of it I don't think letting go is a good idea, with HLP getting kind of slow and quiet.

Also worth noting that the hits to Sectorgame have shifted. While visits to Freespace 2 Sector has increased, visits to the forums has gone down - The forums fell to second place for the second month in a row.
