I got this idea into my head after the general uproar and insanity that have been HLP April Fools jokes, and admittedly far too much time reading Uncyclopedia lately.

In essence, either "vandalize" the FSWiki or cause some links (General Discussion?) to redirect to an Uncyclopedia-esque Wiki entry on Derek Smart, or possibly a similar thing about members of the community or the original Volition dev team.

I figured I'd bounce it off the known crowd of HLP important people here first, since I can't exactly propose it in public over there and have it still be a viable option.

It's in here because I like to think you all can be trusted to keep a secret. Not so sure about the other folks. And so far ahead of time so it could actually be written up if it gets elaborate.

Too easy to change back, unless you locked down the wiki. Which you'd need to be a wiki admin to do. Which I might still be... don't really know.

I think someone should write a phony news article announcing the release of Freespace 3 which has many witty injokes, give it 3 Highlights as well. Then have a set of links like this

the fswiki is full of stupid and non canonical information, and is for the most part entirely conjecture and shouldnt be there

That's actually quite good.

I reckon do nothing and just post a thread that says "This is it." with a pic of the admin team high fiving each other.
